A unique venue for a ceremony under the stars set the stage for Tricia & Brad’s gold planetarium wedding.
Tricia and Brad’s ceremony was set underneath the planetarium’s night sky with family and friends seating inside. When you have your wedding under the stars, additional decor isn’t really needed. Moving the the reception after the ceremony, guests attending this gold planetarium wedding were greeted with a similar feel with nightfall as a theme. White lanterns hung from the black ceiling in the reception, creating a star-like feel similar to the planetarium.
From the photographer: Brad Schneider pulled off a fabulous wedding in one of the most unusual wedding venues I’ve been to thus far, the Neag Planetarium in Reading. Their “Under the Stars” wedding incorporated Brad’s love of outer space as well as showcasing Tricia’s event design skills in a venue that pleased them both! Their “First Look” ended up taking place in the middle of the surprise snow shower we receiving, and the falling snowflakes really added something special to the emotions of the moment. Brad’s response to seeing his bride for the first time was very sweet. We were able to capture several spontaneous portraits before heading inside the Reading Museum to meet up with the bridal party.
