Brittany & Sam’s urban glam wedding was glittered with chandeliers in a warehouse-like venue.
After the church ceremony, guests moved to Aria in the Warehouse District. The venue played a huge part in this urban glam wedding with exposed brick walls and countless crystal chandeliers. During the reception, half of the guests were seated at farm tables without table linens, extending the urban feel. The other half of the guests found a seat at a round table with white linens and candle centerpieces. This unique setup of mixed tables added to this urban glam wedding. Every glam wedding needs that pop of floral, and this urban glam wedding is no different. The bride decorated with a collection of smaller bouquets of ivory flowers on the tables, alternating with greenery runners.
From the photographer: Although their ceremony/reception was memorable, the couple also experienced a wedding night they’ll never forget. “Sam and I climbed into bed around 1 a.m., only to be woken up at 5 a.m. by the hotel fire alarms. Yes, there was an actual fire! So, with messy hair and makeup still half on, we sat in the hotel lobby for over an hour with our guests that wanted to reminisce about the night before…yes, too soon.” We couldn’t help but laugh as Brittany shared this story with us. As it just goes to show that when it comes to planning your day, there’s always at least a few surprises!
