Catherine & Daniel’s rustic country club wedding was complete with burlap and lace.
Catherine’s father is the general manager at The Country Club of the Crystal Cove, so it was only fitting his daughter had her wedding there. The ceremony site was kept simple with a delicate arch with white draping. The scenery at the country club was forefront during the ceremony. The rustic country club wedding continued into the ballroom, which was decorated with white and gold lanterns. Tables had white linens with a burlap runner and small centerpieces of candles and baby’s breath. The sweetheart table was topped with alternating small vases of baby’s breath and pink hydrangeas. They even had a burlap sign noting it was the “Mr. & Mrs.” table. At the end of the evening, guests left with custom favors: small jars of mints with a burlap cover.
From the photographer: Storms rolled through during preps but the ceremony remained dry. It’s especially hot that time of year in Eastern North Carolina but the overcast skies and windy conditions kept it reasonable. It was very windy the entire day. Catherine’s veil was blowing everywhere during the ceremony including on her father and around her own neck (which reminded me of I Dream of Jeannie).
