Mansion at Woodward Park Wedding: The Sajjadi wedding was the perfect event to ring in the new year with. The ceremony was full of elegance and class.
The head table was dreamy and full of the most beautiful florals. This wedding was truly all things floral with beautiful blooms cascading down the stairs of the mansion, circled the cake, and accented the cross arbor.
From the bride: For our Mansion at Woodward Park Wedding, we wanted everything to feel timeless. Our goal was to create a day filled with elements that we would look back on in fifty years and still love.
Timeless to us meant highlighting the unique style and design of our venue with florals and candles to make a warm and romantic setting in the middle of winter.
For our décor, my goal really was to showcase the design of our venue. It is a gorgeous historic mansion and so I wanted everything to highlight the intrinsic beauty of the mansion.
The black and white checker marble floor and all white dining room served as inspiration for my color palette. I wanted our décor to be understated since the Mansion at Woodward Park speaks for itself.
Flowers, flowers and more flowers. As a little girl, I knew that florals were high on my priority list when it came to my wedding and Mandy did not disappoint. For our ceremony I wanted the focus to be the altar and to feel as if everyone was surrounded by flowers. We went with a statement white wooden cross and enveloping circle of flowers and it perfectly captured my vision.
Lastly, our venue had a magnificent staircase that I wanted to envelop in flower since it was going to be visible at all times during our wedding. I wanted there to be cohesive florals since it was an intimate venue. Every table centerpiece perfectly coordinated with the stairs, floral elements on our seating chart, and altar.
For wedding planning, I cannot stress enough how crucial it is to have a planner and day of coordinator. Having Whitney and her XO Event Co team with us made everything seamless. She had been with us from the beginning stages of planning though the entire day, and I knew that she had our very best interest and vision at heart.
Also pause and soak up every moment. It is a really special day to be surrounded by people who love and support you unconditionally.
