Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens Wedding– A rich kaleidoscope of pink, red and burgundy florals set against peacock blue gowns and linens. created a luxurious English garden look at this hidden tropical oasis in north San Diego.
Annie and Andre postponed their original wedding date for one year, as she worked the front lines of the pandemic as a nurse, and the majority of their guests had to travel to California for the big day.
When the time finally came, heaps of bold, brilliant, saturated color were brought in to celebrate the newlyweds. Luxury Floral Designer Tularosa Flowers used English, raspberry, and coral garden roses, mauve lisianthus, dinner plate dahlias, camellias, pops of bougainvillea and textured foliage.
The reception tent was lit by soft candlelight in vintage candle holders and lanterns, and scented with flowers set in antique brass vessels of varying heights.
From the bride: Of course seeing one another’s faces at our first look and hearing the heartfelt vows we wrote for one another during our ceremony were moments we will always remember.
Hearing the speeches during the reception was extremely emotional- listening to those that love us and looking out to all of our guests who had waited a year and traveled from afar to show us support.
When planning a wedding we constantly heard “The day is over in a blink” and “Not everything will go as planned but no one will notice but you” and we really though everyone was just trying to be helpful but they were so right!
It still sometimes feels like a dream because the day was the most magical whirlwind we have experienced.
Watching all of the most precious people from different times of your life come together in one space solely to celebrate your love is a life-changing experience-soak it in!
