From the bride on her Oceanfront Rhode Island Wedding: Sounds cliche, but we can only describe our wedding as the best day of our lives.
Nothing prepares you for the love and joy you will feel on that day – all of your family and friends in one place at one time!
It felt like a dream. We would give anything to re-live it.
We met in college while we were both on campus early as freshman orientation leaders.
The proposal took place in our apartment. I came home from my manicure (smart man!) to pictures of our hanging from balloons all throughout the apartment and lots of candles!
We wanted the decor to be clean and natural – white flowers, greenery, and candles were the focal points. A big, full head table was important to us!
I always wanted a long sleeve wedding dress. I randomly tried on my sleeveless wedding dress at the request of my aunt, and fell in love! It had a deep v-neck, and was white lace with a blush layer underneath.
The groom wore a very dark, navy blue tux with black accents to match the groomsmen who were in black tuxes!
There were too many anticipated moments to count, but one of our special moments was when we were alone in the bridal suite prior to our entrance at the reception.
It was nice to have some time to reflect on the ceremony over a glass of champagne before the party started!
Our favorite part of our wedding? DANCING. Hands down. We love to dance, and even more so at our own wedding. 🙂
Our band was absolutely incredible. We want to have another party just to hire them again. They really kept the dance floor packed all night long.
