Our romantic countryside wedding was inspired by the cottagecore aesthetic of simple living, vintage decor, earth tones, and wildflowers.
While dreaming up the design for this shoot, our team set out to paint the story of a couple who, nestled in the countryside and brimming with love, decided to craft their intimate wedding day with natural elements sourced from the land around them.
Our wedding venue, The Condor’s Nest Ranch, fit this narrative exactly. The ranch offers expansive mountain scenery, rustic and vintage decor, and is complete with an oak orchard and various farm animals.
Our floral ceremony installation mimicked the natural lines of a great oak tree and shrouded the couple in chamomile and garden roses, while complementing the natural tones and textures of the ranch.
Our custom, hand-made invitation suite added to the elegance with blush-toned vellum and deckled edges, and complete with vintage wax seals.
Our design team drew inspiration from Audrey Hepburn’s iconic first wedding dress, an elegant A-line long-sleeve gown, and we were able to achieve the same look with a similar Justin Alexander gown.
This timeless wedding dress features asymmetric pleating on the shoulder and a keyhole back, and helped execute our vision of an elevated, vintage ranch wedding.
Experimenting with veils and sun hats also allowed us to push the boundaries of how wedding accessories can be utilized.
Lastly, to create our intimate candlelit wedding dinner, we arranged a farm table with delicate dinnerware, wildflower buds, and fresh fruit to act as centerpieces. Overall, this shoot was a dream!
