Allie + Dan tied the knot at beautiful Rosewood Farms wedding venue in Elkton, Maryland surrounded by personal touches that reflected their fun personalities.
From the bride: Our overall inspiration was FUN! We wanted to keep the overall decor simple yet pretty and focus on details that made the day fun for our guests.
We preferred fun yet muted colors that weren’t overwhelming but felt a bit more exciting than the standard neutral colors you see so often.
My look was inspired by Hailey Bieber, who inspires lots of my fashion choices. I loved her sleek, simple wedding look.
My dress was form fitting and simple in the front but had open mesh sides with cool back cut outs and buttons all the way down the back, which was one thing I really wanted! I called it “simple in the front, party in the back”!
Dan’s look was timeless and classic.
Our ceremony decor was very minimal. We loved the look and simplicity of the plain white barn and didn’t want to take away from that. We had 2 large arrangements on tall black stands that helped create the altar area.
For the reception, we focused on decor that made the event fun for our guests.
We were both so excited for our first look. All morning while getting ready, I couldn’t wait for that moment. It was so fun to finally see each other and the day felt so easy after we got to be together.
We were also most nervous for our first dance. We had only practiced a few times a couple of days before the wedding, but it ended up being so much and looked like we had practiced for weeks! (Lift and all!)
