A beautiful, classic The Vinoy Renaissance Resort & Golf Club wedding with a twist! Because of COVID, the couple decided to have a micro wedding on the patio of Fred’s Cellar.
This allowed us to play around with the florals and design to make sure it was over the top. For the first time ever, we created a peacock made of flowers to sit perfectly on top of the fountain in the Tea Garden for their ceremony. This was a first for us and the Vinoy!
The inspiration was a garden-themed wedding, romantic and lots of flowers. Greens, whites, and different shades of pink was the color palette.
The space was completely decorated by the Lemon Drops team with gobs of flowers everywhere!
From the bride: We had lots of roses and hydrangeas which is my absolute favorite flower. They were incorporated throughout the bridal bouquets, ceremony and centerpieces in the reception.
My favorite part was the reception area. We had such a small intimate wedding but you would have never known with all the gorgeous flowers and the beautiful tables that were set up. Just because it is small doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with the decor!
I wanted a look that was classic, feminine, and romantic. I wore my hair down, one side pinned back with a bejeweled comb. My dress has a mixture of beading and crystals on it. Avery chose to wear a blackwatch plaid jacket with fitted black dress pants and monk strap shoes.
The most special and memorable moment of the wedding day was saying our wedding vows to each other. It felt so surreal to finally be able to become man and wife!
Like everyone says, the wedding day goes by so fast! So make sure you slow down and try to enjoy every minute of it that you can. Also having an amazing wedding planner that makes sure everything goes smoothly is a must!
