Wilder Mansion Wedding

From the photographer: Monica & Drew finally got to tie the knot this past weekend at the beautiful Wilder Mansion wedding venue in Elmhurst, Illinois!

They got married on March 6th, the anniversary of their very first date 6 years ago.

Drew & Monica were not even supposed to be married here in Illinois. Their original plan was a destination wedding in Jamaica.

Unfortunately, the pandemic had other plans, and instead of the dream wedding that had been so carefully planned, they planned for a wedding here in their hometown.

Like so many couples this past year Monica & Drew were only allowed so many guests and masks and social distancing were in place.

A zoom chat was set up for family and friends to witness their Wilder Mansion wedding from the safety of their homes.

Loved ones watched the nuptials of these two amazing people miles apart.

I’ve known Monica professionally and personally for a few years now.

It’s always an honor when a fellow photographer wants you to capture her/his big day. I knew how much this day meant to them both.

I hope that I have captured this new season in their lives just the way they had envisioned it.

Congratulations to my friend and her husband!!! I wish them a lifetime of love and success. I can’t wait to see all of the new adventures that life has planned for them both.
