On a perfectly overcast day in October, Mitch and Anna made it official at their Dubuque Arboretum & Botanical Gardens wedding.
This classic tale of high school sweethearts finally tying the knot, immediately made me swoon!
From the light drizzle that fell during the ceremony to the emotional toasts from loved ones, I seriously felt the heart-melting gaze through my camera lens.
The rose garden at the end of the season had such a romantic gloomy essence.
Those subtle pops of red perfectly mirrored the moments of joy that Mitch and Anna brought to this year.
Mitch’s smile could not be contained and I assume has yet to leave his face.
And Anna’s gorgeous red locks against the deep evergreen scenery made my artist eye lock-in.
Truly, photographing people as joyful and present as these two is such a treat!
Oh man do these folks know how to tug at the heartstrings with a toast!
The father of the bride pouring his heart out to Anna had me shedding happy tears.
And the best man, I could only wish for a best friend like that for my kids.
Seriously, if you all need someone to write your speeches, hit up this bunch.
The support and love that this group of family and friends have for Mitch and Ann are just so palpable.
From the hugs of glee to the prayer by Mitch’s grandpa, there is nothing better than getting to witness the purest joy in people.
Being able to capture that moment forever is a close second.
Congratulations Mitch and Anna Willie!
