Olivia and Kyle’s Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Wedding

Olivia and Kyle chose a quintessential Detroit venue for their wedding, the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant. Built in 1904, it was the second center of automobile production for the Ford Motor Company, after the Ford Mack Avenue Plant. It now serves as a museum.

The industrial vibe of the venue provided a quirky backdrop for their winter ceremony and reception. They decorated the space with dried flowers, pictures from their travels, and beautiful simple table arrangements.

Their dessert table, crafted by Mannino’s Bakery, was absolutely gorgeous and equally as delicious.

Olivia’s family is half Polish, so they wanted to incorporate a typical Polish-made vodka into their evening. The families gathered around a table and exclaimed “Na Zdrowie!”, or cheers in Polish.

The decor was kept simple. It still felt cozy and warm, especially with it being winter. The bride’s shoes matched her groom’s blue tux.

The industrial space features different types of historical Ford vehicles spaced out around the ceremony and reception area.

The unique character of this warehouse-looking space seeps out of the photographs. It made for a beautiful February wedding.
