Kelli and Mike had a magical wedding at the Sapphire Riviera Cancun Resort. It was a fitting venue for this outdoor-loving couple. Every momentous occasion in their relationship happened around nature.
The inspiration behind their day was themselves. They decided to do a destination wedding because they love to travel. The Sapphire Riviera Cancun Resort is a newly renovated all-inclusive hotel. It boasts stunning views, pools, and beaches.
Their color palette was turquoise, tan, and earth tones with a splash of bright colorful flowers. A tropical wedding isn’t a tropical wedding without some color.
From the bride: Our wedding decor was very minimal. My husband and I (Mike) wanted the ocean and the beach to be the main decor. We used natural elements like greenery and lanterns to bring the space to life and give it a bit of character.”
The bride loves flowers, so naturally they were in abundance during their wedding. For the ceremony, the aisle was lined with large lanterns. Each had greenery surrounding it with a candle inside.
The bride’s bouquet was a mixture of stunning tropical flowers. The beautiful lanterns were then taken to the reception area where they were used as the center pieces.
