Hannah and Andrew had an amazing airy wedding on September 14, 2019. From the photographer: “The day was beautifully overcast with warm rays peeking through to give us a golden glow most of the day. Their wedding venue, Lakeside at Welch Estate located in Powhatan, VA was a breath of fresh air and had stunning views every angle you looked.”
This couple’s special day felt light and airy like you were relaxing by the fire. All of the decorations were very neutral and natural; they used real pieces of ivy for the tables, paired with dark gray napkins and rose gold tealights. Flowers with pale shades of pink, cream, and burgundy accented the classic decor. From the bride: “I’m not one of those girls who envisioned my wedding since I was a little girl, so when it came time to decorate and pick a theme, I was slightly unprepared! But, my hubby and I are both outdoorsy and laid-back, so the wedding followed the same suit. Natural and simple, but elegant and beautiful at the same time. We stuck with neutrals for the most part, and the evening time frame and the setting sun was the perfect background for the night!”
