Alexandra & Jordan’s urban spring wedding took place at Lake Affect Studio in Cleveland, Ohio back in May.
The bride carried a bouquet of white calla lilies and greenery for this urban spring wedding. A wood arch was asymmetrically draped with white fabric for the ceremony. Festoon lights added a romantic ambiance to this urban spring wedding.
From the bride: Throughout wedding planning the one thing that we kept going back to on every decision was that we wanted to day to be “us”, to be authentic to who we are as a couple, how much we love each other, and how much we love our people. We chose a venue that reflect a space that could easily be made into a super cool craft brewery someday and we made sure that we maximized the time we could spend with each other and our bridal party throughout the day (example – we went and had a round of drinks at a local brewery during cocktail hour to have a moment to celebrate with just the 10 of us). We had one of our best friends officiate our ceremony. Once the dance floor opened, the music didn’t stop until the party was over. We didn’t do any games or garters or bouquet tosses. We simply had a party with all of our favorite people. It needed to be simple, beautiful, and fun. Each decision that was made came down to that. Turns out that it was the best thing we could have done. We both had the best time on our wedding day and so did all of our people.
