Sarah & Michael’s modern elegant wedding was held at Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago, Illinois last October.
White draping with greenery decorated the entrance arch for this modern elegant wedding. The bride’s bouquet was filled with pink and purple flowers mixed with greenery. A simple white sign welcomed guests to this modern elegant wedding. Round reception tables were topped with black linens and bold autumn floral centerpieces.
From the photographer: Sarah and Mike wanted a wedding more focused on celebration than on typical formal traditions. They’re the couple that is always hiking, skiiing, traveling and they incorporated their love for the outdoors with a tree lined outdoor ceremony adjacent to their reception loft. Their ceremony was kept short and sweet with confetti cannons showering them as they were announced husband and wife. Sarah’s wedding style felt true to her in a sleek Vera Wang gown and custom jewelry made by a local jeweler.
