Victoria & Jordan’s intimate spring wedding took place at North Bank Park Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio.
Guests gathered around one long table to watch the couple exchange vows. Eucalyptus garlands with pink roses lined the middle of the reception table for this intimate spring wedding. The couple infused a few Ukrainian traditions in this intimate spring wedding. Hand painted bells from the Ukraine were given to guests by the bride and groom as favors.
How they met: We met in the most romantic place on earth—Panama City Beach, FL. My sister (and college roommate) was dating a childhood friend of Jordan’s roommate (and best friend), and we all decided to meet for a spring break trip. Jordan and I quickly made a connection over our dry humor, sarcastic remarks, and love for The Office. We returned from the trip to complete our junior year of college (Jordan in New York and myself in Minnesota) and maintained a long-distance friendship through the summer. When I visited in August of 2015, we began dating; our relationship grew and lasted through two years of distance, moving in together when I started graduate school at the Ohio State University, and raising our sweet Golden Retriever girl. We often marvel at the events that had to happen in our lives for us to meet—everything from my emigration from Ukraine at age 4 to making the right connections in college to planning that spring break trip.
