Kayleen & Jay’s romantic Pittsburgh wedding took place at Heinz Chapel and Soldiers and Sailors Hall.
The couple tied the know in Heinz Chapel for this romantic Pittsburgh wedding. After the ceremony, guests moved to the venue for the reception. Instead of a traditional guest book, guests took Polaroid pictures.
From the bride: Jay and I wanted our wedding to reflect who we are as a couple. Our goal was to have a fun party with good food and drinks, great music, and lots of dancing. While we didn’t have a specific theme, we wanted a romantic, classy style. In order to achieve this goal, we had gorgeous flowers, lots of candle light, and some uplighting. The color palette for the wedding was blush, peach, ivory, and a little touch of navy blue. Our cookie table was a decoration on its own – it had porcelain platters decorated with delicious cookies and cupcakes, along with a few jars of candy. While there were quite a few special moments on our wedding day, the most anticipated moment was walking down the aisle and seeing each other for the first time. There was just so much love and excitement at that moment that it’s hard to beat!
