Gregory & Jeremy’s modern elegant wedding took place at 1208 Washington Place, an old bank with high ceilings, a vault and a library.
The grooms wore stunning ivory dinner coats for the ceremony then changed to tailored black tuxes for cocktail hour for this modern elegant wedding. Signature drinks were designed based on their favorite movies, Harry Potter and Star Wars.
How he asked: On one faithful trip to NYC, the guys were having a ‘normal’ day, brunch, Broadway Show, then a stroll through Central Park. The guys came upon Belvedere Castle, the first place Jeremy & Greg ever took photos in the city together. After a few minutes of exploring he set off to find Jeremy. Under the shade of a canopy Greg approached the scene unknowingly. After a few moments of exploration over the castle wall Greg noticed friends Brian & Chris filming/taking pictures of him. A brief reprimand he turned around to find Jeremy quietly standing there holding a small blue box with a white ribbon. After unwrapping the box, and placing the ring on his finger the only words whispered were “What?” After repeating that a few times it was followed by an overwhelming “YES!” They describe it as still to this day one of the best trips they have ever taken to NYC, and has solidified July 5th as the special date in their relationship, much to Jeremy’s pleasure.
