Harshal & Joshua’s modern Philadelphia wedding was planned in just 3 months, but managed to incorporate handmade touches.
Vows were exchanged at City Hall for this modern Philadelphia wedding. The bride’s bouquet was a collection of pastel flowers and greenery with a navy ribbon. The couple incorporated elements from both of their cultures in their modern Philadelphia wedding ceremony.
From the photographer: This Interfaith Philadelphia City Hall Wedding was just the day Harshal and Josh had envisioned. They wanted a simple and beautiful venue and The Mayor’s Reception Room in the iconic Philadelphia City Hall is definitely an elegant space for a ceremony. Since Josh and Harshal come from different cultures, they wanted a nondenominational wedding. In March, when they took a tour of City Hall, they both fell in love with the idea and immediately knew they had found the perfect venue. For the reception, since they had a varied set of guests from different cultures and with multiple food restrictions, Veda was the perfect choice. This modern Indian bistro has something to satisfy everyone’s palette and the modern industrial with a touch of traditional vibe really matched their wedding style. Harshal added some of her own touches, hand painting the guest book and the seating chart and name cards were also handmade made by Harshal and Josh’s siblings.
