Elegance was ever-present in Cristina & Sean’s traditional white wedding in Cedar Grove, New Jersey last May.
How they met: These two newlyweds met through friends, as their best friends are actually cousins and own a family shore house together. Cristina and Sean were around each other many times before actually speaking to each other. It was one night when they were out a bar together that they were officially introduced to each other and the rest, as they say, is history! Their relationship evolved and Sean eventually proposed during a hike in front of a waterfall in the Poconos.
From the bride: When venue hunting it really helps to choose spaces that already have their own natural beauty. It is a money saver because then you don’t have to worry about decorating a blank slate! Aside from candles and white flowers I brought some photos of my husband and I to fill in some of the tables that the venue had at the entrance of the reception room. We had a Viennese hour which our guests LOVED. We also had a photo booth which was tons of fun! My husband and I are big fans of board games etc. so rather than a traditional guest book I put out Jenga pieces for my guests to sign (“Help us build memories”- was in a frame near by). This was so much fun to play after the wedding and to see what silly notes our guests left us!
