Jessica and Kevin’s Joyful June Wedding

Jess and Kevin’s joyful June wedding was a happy occasion, regardless of the pandemic. The new husband and wife got married on their original wedding date, but at an AirBnB instead of their venue. Even though only immediate family was in attendance, their special day was full of love.

While their joyful June wedding looked a little different than what they had initially planned, it was still a day to remember. The bride’s mother made the beautiful backdrop out of handmade doilies from great-grandmothers. Wedding bands from the bride’s grandparents dangled from one of the yarn strands. The flowers were simply stunning. The bride and groom wanted them to be whimsical and feel like a field of wildflowers. Guests wore masks and social distanced. The reception included pizza and cookies from a local bakery. Everyone sat in their own household group, picnic style. From the bride: “We ordered West Side pizza and had each household order their own pizza to avoid people sharing or touching food.  We got cake and cookies from a local bakery to also just keep the day simple. We really loved how well the day turned out for basically being tossed together in the end.”
