Amy & Ethan’s elegant French country wedding took place at Legacy Hill Farm in Welch, Minnesota.
From the photographer: Amy and Ethan are a couple who love laughing together and love to have fun! The couple was married on a summer afternoon at Legacy Hill Farm, an elegant french country inspired farm in Welch, MN. The couple opted to do a first look prior to their ceremony and tears were flowing. The color pallet for the day was navy and a soft cornflower blue, perfect for the vibe of Legacy Hill Farm. The couple read sweet vows to one another during the ceremony and there were so many hugs from family and friends to follow! The reception followed with music and BBQ!
From the bride: It was important for us to have the ceremony and reception at the same location. We had the majority of our guests coming from out of town and we wanted it to basically be a big hang out! We were drawn to the outdoor venues and wanted to keep things simple but elegant. We ended up going with a dusty blue and dusty green color palette. We kept it simple with DIY table number signs, candles, and eucalyptus garlands on the tables. Ethan’s grandpa, Doug, made a custom wooden “W” that we placed on the mantel behind the head table. It was special to have a lot of family contribute in such artistic ways!
