Jeanie & Tim’s navy spring wedding took place at Union Church of Hinsdale and The Morton Arboretum last April.
Bridesmaids donned light blue dresses to perfectly pair with their white and blush bouquets. Blue linens topped reception tables for this navy spring wedding. Centerpieces alternated on tables with tall and short white floral arrangements.
From the photographer: Tim and Jean were just recently married on the prettiest day in April. It was a perfect spring day and all the tulips and flowering trees were in bloom at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois. This black-tie affair was so timeless and elegant. The colors palette consisted of navy and light blue with light pink and gold accents. The bridesmaids wore light blue and the groomsmen wore black tuxes and bow ties. The bouquets were filled with beautiful pink, yellow, and white sweet peas, lily of the valley, ranunculus, peonies, and roses. The smell was intoxicating. One of my favorite details of the day was Jean’s wedding dress. Jean’s Aunt is a costume designer, so they decided to take her other aunts wedding dress (from the 80s) and transform it into something new for Jean to wear on her and Tim’s day. It turned out so beautiful. The iridescent beads on her bodice were reminiscent of the 80s and the flowy train was so delicate and perfect. It fit Jean so wonderfully and she looked like an angel.
