As much as your aunt, a friend of the family, and your mother-in-law want to come along to see you try on your dresses, you need to put your foot down! Having too many people with you can make the experience even more stressful. You only need a couple of people’s opinions otherwise, you will struggle to make the decision. Take along your mom, a sister and a best friend. They will be able to advise you without taking over. You need to make the decision ultimately, so even if they aren’t sure, you should go with what’s in your heart.

You might go to one wedding dress shop and see a lot of dresses you love. But you may go to a different one, and find the right one that you should buy. Therefore, you should not make the decision without trying on a couple of dresses. Going to several shops can also mean you get a different experience. Some stores will give you the royal treatment with champagne and even some snacks while busier shops may not be able to give you much time. Whatever you do, you should book an appointment.
