Mary and Oliver’s Magical Garden Wedding

Mary and Oliver were married this past February in a magical garden wedding at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. From the photographer: “When you’re in the wedding business, you see countless wedding venues – hotels, backyards, gardens, vineyards, etc. But there are some venues that whisk you away and make you feel like you’re in another land. Adorned with trees, stone buildings, and a lit courtyard with a fountain, this botanical garden was absolutely magical. The bride’s Vivienne Atelier lace dress with leaf details was the perfect choice for a romantic garden-themed wedding and the flower arrangements and bouquets added to the whimsical feel of the day.” The romantic garden style was also reflected in the arbor. It was built by the groom and featured a whimsical blush draping and large flower arrangements.

The most special moment of their magical garden wedding? The first look. From the bride: “After all the build-up that occurred in the morning, it was amazing to finally see each other for the first look. That felt like the real beginning of the celebration and allowed us to have a special moment together before the ceremony. It turned our nerves into excitement and really allowed us to feel like we were taking on the ceremony together and moving into our marriage side-by-side as a team.”
