Whitney & Richard’s modern mountain wedding took place at the beautiful Granlibakken Resort in Tahoe City, California.
The couple exchanged vows outside nestled in the tall trees for this modern mountain wedding ceremony. Outside, tables were topped with white linens and modern gold vases with flowers. Cupcakes were displayed on the dessert table for this modern mountain wedding.
How he asked: Richard proposed at the top of KT-22 at Squaw Valley while we were skiing, in front of a gorgeous tree with a backdrop of Lake Tahoe. He had scoped out the spot on a previous visit to Squaw. Richard completely terrified me because he convinced me we were going up there past the “Experts Only” sign to ski down (not knowing he was going to propose, of course). Fortunately, after he proposed we went the easier way down.
