Kimi & Sean’s intimate garden wedding took place at Presidio Chapel and Presidio Social Club in San Francisco, California.
From the photographer: Tucked up on a little San Francisco hill, surrounded by towering eucalyptus trees, with a lovely view of the bay flowing down below- this is where you will find Kimi & Sean’s precious ceremony location at the Presidio Chapel. This gorgeous, white stone walled church was the most romantic and intimate place for this couple to say their “I do’s” in front of their closest friends and family. The day was complete with a joyous dinner at the Presidio Social Club and the dreamiest sunset photos of the couple, now husband and wife, snuggling in the glow of the setting sun.
How they met: Kimi and Sean met many years ago when they separately joined a group of their friends at a beer tasting event at the Embarcadero. The pair locked eyes when in line for the restroom, waiting for their friends to return to their groups. A friend spotted them chatting and thought they were such a lovely couple together- so much so that they told Kimi & Sean that they should get married! Kimi and Sean laughed it off at the time, but ended up exchanging numbers that evening. It didn’t take long for them to realize how well they clicked together! After dating for quite some time, the topic of marriage had come up here and there- both agreeing they wanted to spend their forever’s together. Sean popped the question when he took Kimi on a surprise trip to a charming little B&B in Mendacino (complete with its own super cute goats!). They were out on a tour of a local lighthouse one afternoon, when Sean took advantage of the views from the top and got down on one knee to ask Kimi for her hand. And, of course, she said yes!
