Holly & Mike’s country barn wedding took place at Lone Oak Farms in Macon, Georgia last fall.
About the wedding: Both the bride and groom are Christians and agreed that they wanted the ceremony to reflect their relationship with God as the center. The pastor referenced the Bible verse Ecclesiastes 4:12, “A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” Holly and Mike braided three ropes together to signify the union between husband and wife with Christ as the center. Holly’s grandfather Robert Templeton, who’s passion is woodworking, built the cross himself which made it all the more special. Our colors were mixed pastels and wildflowers. It went perfectly with the natural outdoor farm location and the mix matched linens and china.
From the bride: Corn hole is a family staple for us. We take our boards to the beach with us every year and it leads to hours of family tournaments, rivalries, and memories so clearly we couldn’t have an outdoor wedding without a station for corn hole!
