Despite various setbacks from mother nature, Minette & Florian’s rustic boho wedding as held at Sunshine Ranch in Horsefly, British Columbia.
Watercolor antlers decorate the invitation. A livestock skull and flowers decorated the arch for this rustic boho wedding. The bridal party joined the bride and wore flower crowns. Tables for the reception were decorated with greenery, antlers and candles.
From the photographer: Minette and Florian’s ranch wedding didn’t happen without some interference from mother nature! A few weeks before the wedding, the “fairytale forest” with beautiful Aspen trees where they planned on having their ceremony, got destroyed by a storm. Closer to the wedding date, the entire Cariboo region in BC was battling extensive forest fires. Even the day before the wedding, several flights got canceled because of the fires and some members of the bridal party and out of town guests made the long trek from Vancouver by car. And because of the fires, the couple’s catering company couldn’t make it out there as well as Minette’s rented horse carriage. Luckily family and friends came together and took care of everything! And as by miracle the day of the wedding, all the smoke was gone!
