Rustic elements and autumn colors beautifully came together for Anne & Howie’s fall farm wedding in Andover, New Jersey.
How they met: Howie and I both attended The University of Rhode Island and met back in college our Freshman year. My next door roommate and very good friend Jay played on the hockey team, as did Howie, so I met him when he would come over to visit Jay. Howie and I did not date at all during college, but I had always remembered him as being such a nice guy. Fast forward around 20 years later and we reconnected on good old Facebook! Howie reached out to me, not expecting or assuming in any way that we would end up dating. I of course had other plans.
From the bride: I LOVE pictures and photography. So, I really wanted to find a venue where we would have great scenery for our pictures and a low key, yet pretty atmosphere for our guests. I did not want, nor need anything over the top. So, the venue (wanted a rustic look), scenery/photography were all very important to me. I have never been a fan of big, cheesy weddings…the staple wedding halls. I really wanted something more rustic and laid back. Although we did not have an exact theme, I tried to make it as rustic as possible.
