The effortlessly cool Ace Hotel in Palm Springs fit Vanessa and Lance’s personality to a T. The bride, a photo producer, and the groom, a music video director, have that SoCal creative-yet-collected look down to a science, and they know how to show it both in real life and through images. “Since Lance is a music video director, he was quite aware of intentionally creating a story,” says James Moes, the couple’s wedding photographer. Moes particularly liked the bridal party’s chic clothing and the avant-garde couple portraits taken in the middle of the surrounding desert.
