Anchors and boats decorated the venue for Grace & Matthew’s nautical Navy wedding in Maryland last fall.
After the church ceremony, the couple carried out the Marine Corps sword tradition. Guests made their way to the reception space, where tables were draped in navy linens and topped with nautical centerpieces.
From the photographer: Matthew & Grace had their ceremony at the beautiful chapel on the Naval Academy campus, and then their reception at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Matthew & Grace used a nautical theme with a lot of little DIY touches. My favorite was the tower of donuts from the Donut Shack. They were incredible and they had so many of them, they made Felipe and I take a box home. Grace & Matthew are definitely easy going and fun to work with. Since Matthew was on the rowing team while he was a student at the Academy, we were able to get access to the private boat house for some really nice formal photos with just the two of them.
