Woodsy elements decorated the modern Day Block Event Center for Rebecca & John’s rustic loft wedding in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The bride on incorporating traditions: One of the Norwegian traditions that John and I chose to do involved our Kransekaka wedding cake. Together we grab the top ring and pull up, however many rings come up with us is supposed to represent how many children we will have. I have always wanted a big family, and John the opposite, so when we pulled up two rings John went nuts!
How they met: Rebecca and John dated in their Minneapolis high school, but reconnected after college. John asked her out (conveniently) 2 weeks before he left the country to work in Japan for a year. With the pressure off, she said “What the heck, lets catch up!” and the rest is history for these two!
