The modern structure of the restaurant paired with simple, modern decor set the stage for Andrea & Adam’s intimate restaurant wedding.
Both the ceremony and reception were held at a restaurant. The oversized windows allowed for plenty of natural light during the ceremony, creating a romantic ambiance in the modern space. Decor for the ceremony was simple: a basic white aisle runner led to the altar that was frames with two beautiful floral arrangements. After the ceremony, guests moved to the reception area. Tables were draped with black linens, giving a darker, evening feel to the same space.
From the photographer: Andrea couldn’t have asked for a more perfect mild fall day. She started her day getting ready at the lovely Brookstreet Hotel in Kanata with her family and friends on the 18th floor overlooking the beautiful changing colors across Ottawa. Andrea and Adam decided to do a first look at Brookstreet before heading over to NeXT Restaurant in Stittsville for their ceremony and reception, and the changing color provided the perfect backdrop to do so. Half of Andrea’s family live abroad in Greece so as a way to incorporate family that couldn’t make it in person, they Skyped the ceremony!
