Gina & Carmen’s Musical Wedding

Scianni- Intorre Wedding

Gina had a vision for her wedding: a Jean Harlow-inspired affair with simple elegance. The bride and groom hosted the reception at The Mansion on Delaware Avenue, a luxury hotel in Buffalo, New York. She purchased the first gown she tried on at The Bridal Garden in New York City, a not-for-profit bridal boutique.

A unique element to this wedding was the musicality. Carmen, the groom, is a professional jazz musician. He collaborated with the bride’s brother to perform at the reception. Furthermore, music notes, piano keys and other musical elements sang throughout the design of the wedding.

From the bride: Meeting my soon to be husband at the altar was simultaneously surreal and exactly where I was meant to be. I was surprised at how relaxed I felt once I finally got there! Before we returned to the reception venue, my husband and I asked the driver to take a short drive around downtown Buffalo just to give us a few moments to be alone together. This had been recommended to me by a good friend. I would pass along this simple advice to others. Watching my new husband play the drums with some of my friends seeing him perform for the first time, I couldn’t have been more proud of him.
